 Hollywood, CA – In order to meet the need for authenticity in today’s television and movie projects, Hollywood producers are utilizing military- and law enforcement-trained actors, technical advisors and background talent from Combat Casting for top-rated television programs and major motion pictures.

 “As military and law enforcement themes have gained in popularity, it became clear that producers desired an exceptional level of credibility in the military and law enforcement men and women portrayed in their stories.  Out of that need, Combat Casting was born,” said U.S. Marine Corps veteran Jody Hart, President of Combat Casting. 

 Two years ago, Hart began assembling a unique array of professional actors and technical advisors - all of whom currently serve or have served in various military and law enforcement agencies. “This special blend of professional entertainment and service expertise adds real-world knowledge and experience to television, film, commercial and print productions,” noted Hart. “Our actors are highly trained in military combat, S.W.A.T. tactics, military marching, parades, funerals and other ceremonial protocol. They are also proficient in handling weapons and operating a wide range of military vehicles.”

In addition to on-screen actors, Combat Casting has also provided productions with technical advisors specializing in military and law enforcement strategy, tactics, operational and uniform protocols; interrogation techniques, weapons training and usage, and an assortment of other specialized skills. 

Television programs that have used the personnel and services of Combat Casting include Alias, E Ring, Numb3rs, Crossing Jordan, 24, Commander in Chief, C.S.I. and Las Vegas.  Recent motion pictures include xXx 2, Bad Boys 2, Charlie’s Angels 2 and Smokin’ Aces. Marine brings combat knowledge to Hollywood's big screen

When he joined the Marine Corps, Jody Hart had no idea where his patriotic service would lead him.

Instead of real-life action, it's now lights, camera and reel-life action for Hart, a 33-year-old native Oregonian. The skills and expertise he learned while serving with the Marines have carried Hart to the big screen where he's using his tactical knowledge to score big in Hollywood.
